ABOUT THE ROYAL ORDER - Motto

In deference to the historical characteristics of the honour system of Bunyoro-Kitara Kingdom, there is not an official motto of the Order.

However, the unofficial Motto of the Order shall be

“Habwomukama, Habwabantu, Habowbwinganisa”

“Pro Rex, Pro Humanitas, Pro Iustitia”

"For the King, For the People, For Justice"
